The First Musical Talent Competition
The competition is an international, artistic, authoritative and fair competition platform for international high-level competition aiming to further promote the development of music art, promote the diversified development of international vocal instruments and music exchanges, and explore more outstanding music talents. The First Music Talent Competition organized by the Global Musicians Union will officially open for registration on December 1, 2022, facing to students of all ages and adult vocal performers.
Participation rules:
1. Applicants must submit a work with the following timelimit:
Students ages 6 to 12: 3 minutes
Students ages 13 to 18: 4 minutes
College students and professionals: 7 minutes
2. Multiple winners will be selected in each age group
3. The applicants may choose from the following range of repertoire:
Folk songs/Traditions
Broadway/Music drama
Jazz, etc.
4. Only unedited videos are acceptable for audition (video parts or video clips that are concatenated together are not acceptable). Applicant's name and audition name must be included in the video description; participants may choose piano accompaniment or other forms of accompaniment.
5. The judges' comments will not be published, and the judges have the final say. The final selection of the winners solely on the video submissions. After the application is submitted, no changes will be made to the repertoire.
6. The organizing committee will issue the award certificate after the Winners' Concert.
7. The results of the competition will be announced by email on March 10, 2023.

Winners' Concert 2023
1. After video screening, the jury will provide professional reviews and comments to each participant, and send them to the participants by email. In addition, the winners will be announced and the top three winners will be invited to the United States to attend the winners' concert.
2. The winners will select one of the audition music for the concert performance.
3. The Winners' Concert will accept up to 1 minute of additional performance time.
4. The concert will be accompanied by piano only, and no sound system will be provided.
5. The organizing committee will arrange professional photographers to take photos of the winners during the performance.
6. All participants shall bear their own travel and accommodation costs.
7. A detailed guide to the winner's performance will be emailed to participants.
